Hello, I am not sure about you guys but I want a way to change the title and load screen music around. For example instead of the default song (or better yet if there is a way to add onto the list of what might play) I would like to have something like this play instead or maybe this and maybe a few other songs if possible. If you can add onto what it might chose to play or something.
Can someone tell me (step by step would be nice) if this is possible and if so how one would do this?
I'm not sure about either the loading screen or having multiples, in fact I think the latter is impossible.
Anyway, all you need to do is convert the '.mp3' to 'KFMenu.ogg' and put it in 'common\killingfloor\Music'.
Also, you got the wrong music, you're looking for this.
I had a feeling you link me to it, trust me ive seen it before was looking for a high quality one of it.
Also as for the music i heard at least 2 tracks or 2 parts of 1 track if im right, im just unsure what file is has to be how big what name ect, i just like to switch the music up to something a bit more tasteful
Well does the loading screen music the same as the start menu? or is it another file all together?
From what I can tell, there's only one 'KFMenu.ogg' file, but you could browse the music folder, see if you can recognize others.
....does it have to be a certain size? if i say just replace the file and call it the same name?
Also how do you convert a mp3 to ogg? just type ogg and not mp3 or some converter or what? sorry no clue
Edit: Ok it seems just changing .pm3 to .ogg it lets the file work on a music player however when i started up the game its just dead quiet....not sure whats wrong any ideas?
I don't think size matters. I use a program called audacity to convert my '.mp3' to '.ogg', which is probably not necessary, perhaps there are online converters.

did you read my edit? changing the .mp3 to .ogg worked for the file however when i try to replace the file for the game with the same name it plays nothing....any clue why?

Yea, I noticed it, but it's silly; just because you can change the extension and still have a player, that can play both, play the file, doesn't mean it's an actual '.ogg' file, but a '.ogg' file with '.mp3' content, headers, and everything.
You didn't convert anything, you just made it seem like something else.
